Okay people, a little confusing to say the least. My stage is set to a size of 960x540 (and for the heck of it, I did the same for TV Safe Area), when I choose export as a Quicktime movie, in traditionally H.264 or Animation+ the exported movie looks brilliant, except it has cropped the sides to about 860x540 (give or take).

What is causing this to happen? Please advise.

BTW, the size exported from the codec is 960x540

Thx,

Glenn

Hi Glenn, you have to define the output size on the Export Movie panel.

When working on Kinemac you should set the Stage size equal to your output movie size or to a size "proportional" to the output size. For example you have to export to 960 x 540 but this size is too small to work on the scene, so you set the Stage size to (x1.5) 1440 x 810. Then on the Export Movie panel, mark the check-box "Keep Proportions" then enter the output width "960" and Kinemac will automatically enter the height "540". If the stage size and the output size are not proportional nor equal, you will get your scene cropped. That's geometry.
